Food Services Manager - (Greensboro, NC)

SUMMARY The Food Services Manager must demonstrate the Agency's purpose, philosophy, policies and procedures. This individual works as a team player and manages meal preparation for adolescent treatment facilities. HOURS Must be flexible. Must accommodate the needs of the facility. REQUIREMENTS Education and/or Background – High-school certificate or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related skills and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served. Cleans and sanitizes all dishes and cookware according to hospital policy. Maintains an inventory of all food and utensils, and ensures their security. Schedules appropriate level of kitchen staff. Orders supplies and keeps records and accounts. Directs activities of 1 or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals and maintaining the facility.
