Soldiers Project Community Engagement Coordinator - (North Hollywood, CA)

The Soldiers Project (TSP) provides free, confidential and unlimited mental health services to Post 9/11 military service members, veterans and their loved ones, regardless of discharge status or combat background. These services are provided by licensed clinicians who volunteer their time pro bono. In 2018, the core program is expanding to include clinical interns who pre-licensure, in order to meet growing demand for services. In addition, TSP will be adding a Peer Support program in 2018 to provide wraparound support for core mental health services. This program will recruit, train and provide veterans and family members the opportunity to pay it forward by helping other veterans navigate available community resources including legal, education, healthcare, housing, VA benefits and employment.This VISTA position will provide key support to the rollout and implementation of the Peer Support program, as well as recruitment of volunteer clinicians and clinical interns.
