Staff Accountant - (San Antonio, TX)

Do you have 2-four years of Accounting background (public company preferred)? Are you proficient with managing multiple Books? Are you highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data? Location: Near Downtown San Antonio Hours/Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 8am to 5pm Rate of pay: $23-$25 per hour, depending on background Responsibilities: -Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting details, analysis and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Company policies and procedures. -Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reinsurance accounting close for areas of functional responsibility. Activities performed include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports and other financial analysis as required. -Prepare monthly and quarterly account reporting of ceded premium and ceded losses to brokers.
