The primary purpose of this position, ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, GS-0802-04, is to assist higher graded technicians by performing repetitive, routine tasks such as observing obvious deviations in data and ascertaining apparent cause.Responsibilities Perform specified arithmetic computations using standard tables and substituting in formulas. Plot data or results and draw simple curves. Abstract and compile specific data from records or other sources such as specifications or drawings.
