position description: Randstad Technologies Nashville, TN is looking for a Linux Engineer Randstad Technologies Nashville, TN is searching for a Linux Engineer to fill a long-term contract position with 1 of our largest clients. Applicants who are qualified should have 3+ years of background in an enterprise data center environment engineering/supporting Linux systems and related technologies. Skills required for the role include advanced trouble shooting skills of the RHEL OS. Specifically File System (ext3/4,xfs), Logical Volume Manager (LVM) support, Ethernet bonding background (LACP, round-robbin) and SAN multipath. Additional assignments include support of a centralized LDAP user/group system such as Red Hat Directory Server. Background using centralized log monitoring, Shell scripting and/or Python background, support of a Linux Anti-virus product such as Clam-AV or Sophos, support of Oracle RAC clusters. Key skills:
