Aquatics Director The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is seeking an Aquatics Director. YMCA YMCA of Southwestern Indiana Location Evansville, IN Position details Under the direction of the Branch Executive Director, the Aquatics Director is responsible for the management and operation of the YMCA's aquatics programs; lifeguard schedules, certifications, YMCA swim lessons, private lessons, water exercise, etc. The Aquatics Director prepares and ensures attainment of program objectives as part of the annual Operations Plan. The incumbent is responsible for the development and oversight of the budget. They will recruit, train, and develop aquatics staff and are responsible for coaching staff. S/he ensures proper care and use of assets, that the pool is maintained, records are accurate, quality checks are conducted regularly, and all class schedules are comprehensive enough to serve the majority of the membership. The Aquatics Director successfully promotes and markets programs, special initiatives and events.
