This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC (Title 32), Job summary Number D1635000 and is part of the IL 183 FW, National Guard. Responsibilities As an AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC (Title 32), WG-8602-5/8/10, you will: Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Troubleshoot malfunctioning engines and interrelated propulsion system components, determine degree of disassembly or certification required, repair or replace defective components, diagnostic computers and associated hardware. Analyze malfunctions using schematic and wiring diagrams, blueprints, manufacturer's specifications, computer diagnostics data, inspection findings, trending data and aircrew debriefs. Perform engine run operation on installed and uninstalled engines to troubleshoot malfunctions or verify findings.
