Key Responsibility Areas: Leadership of the assigned Program Management Therapeutic Area(s) Drives optimal Therapeutic Area Strategy Council (TASC) operations with a cross-functional strategic mindset Supports optimized Asset Development Team (ADT)/Asset Leadership Board (ALB) operations and drives consistency across teams and TAs Seeks process improvement opportunities for AbbVie's drug development process Detailed Responsibilities: Leadership of the assigned Program Management Therapeutic Area(s) Line management responsibilities for ALB/ADT PM staff (and sub-team PM staff to the extent they're supported centrally) Manages TA PM program assignments and resource allocation Recruits, develops, manages and retains TA PM staff Ensures a cross-functional mindset for PM staff and for their interactions on their ALBs/ADTs Driving development and continual elevation of the standard of program management at AbbVie through coaching, mentoring, timely feedback
