Procurement Forester/Buyer, Fiber Supply (272-291) - (Ladysmith, WI)

The Buyer, Fiber supply is responsible to purchase wood from assigned wood suppliers including; loggers, landowners, brokers and sawmills. The Buyer, Fiber Supply will understand the cost component benchmarks of the delivered wood cost structure including; Cut, Skid, Slash, Load, Haul, Stumpage, and Woodyard expenses. The Buyer, Fiber Supply will gather market intelligence and communicate this details to the full procurement team in a way that is compliant with all anti-trust and other legal prohibitions. Be able to Administer wood supply contracts and POs consistent with company policies. Be actively knowledgeable of where the wood is being produced and to comply with all certification qualifications for the companys wood purchases. Receive direction for quota and pricing from a number of different product line Coordinators and deploy these offers to assigned suppliers in a consistent fashion. Interact with designated mill Woodyard personnel in a collaborative fashion.
