Procurement Specialist I - (Balcones Heights, TX)

PURPOSE The Procurement Specialist I is responsible for analysis and conversion of all invoices and requisitions in the MUNIS system, coordinating vendor payments with The Center For Health Care Services (Center) Accounting Department, and assisting with the purchasing of goods and services in accordance with Center Procurement Policy. TASKS * Analyze all invoices and requisitions prior to conversion to ensure best value and compliance with Centers Procurement Policy. * Perform daily MUNIS conversions from Requisitions to Purchase orders. * Match invoices with converted Purchase Orders, scan, log and submit to Accounting. * Review, research, distribute and/or enter in MUNIS invoices from various vendors. * Conduct informal bids on furniture, copiers and specialty items as requested, including searching on TXMAS, TPASS, and other State or Federal purchasing systems and purchasing co-operatives.
