Production Supervisor - (Fort Worth, TX)

TrinityRail is searching for a Production Supervisor in our Saginaw, Texas Office In this role, you will establish functional business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of a production organization. Oversee production employees in various manufacturing and product support departments. Direct the activities and staff within a production environment. What youll do: * Oversee day-to-day operations of the group in a production environment * Interpret, administer, and execute policies / procedures * Manage exempt and/or non-exempt employees * Authority for personnel action (employ, hire, suspend, lay off, recall, promote and discipline employees) * Train and ensure safety of teammates * Monitor schedule to accomplish manufacturing goals * Exercise independent judgement * Typically supervise up to 50-75 workers within a product line * Manage activities including, but are not limited to the following: production operations activities, parts and components management
