As a Tax Staff Accountant in our Roanoke office , you can help us continue our success.Works on a wide variety of tax engagements under the supervision of different accounting professionals by performing the following duties : What your day looks like: Preparation of basic and intermediate individual tax returns Preparation of federal partnership,corporate, and multi-state tax returns Preparation of tax depreciation schedules including proper classification of assets Researches fundamental tax issues using on-line tools Possesses a basic understanding of book/tax differences Performs other accounting and auditing duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel Performs other essential duties as needed What you need for this role: Master's degree (preferred) in accounting or Bachelors with 150 hours Proficiency with computers, spreadsheet software programs
